Rowena Cherry’s Insufficient Mating Material won the 2008 FANTASM Award for Best Futuristic of 2007 and also won the CAPA Award for Best Fantasy of 2007.

Lori Devoti has contracted for three more books in her Unbound series with Silhouette Nocturne and an urban fantasy set in Madison, titled Amazon Ink, to Juno Books. Amazon Ink is scheduled for a March 2009 release. Lori has also agreed to write a short story for inclusion in the Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance to be published in 2009.

Jane Toombs signed a contract with DiskUs Publishing for three more (rights-back) Quick Picks: Monte Carlo Masquerade, Heart Of Silver, and Return to Deville’s Crossing.

Lyn Cote is doing a workshop at National this year: “Navigating the Ever-Changing, Ever-Expanding Christian Inspirational Market,” scheduled for Friday, August 1 at 8:30 a.m. She will talk about the changes in this exploding market and how to judge whether this market would be a good “fit” for an author.
