About WisRWA

Founded in 1984, WisRWA is the Wisconsin chapter of Romance Writers of America(RWA). WisRWA's ever-growing roster has over 120 members and boasts more than 30 published authors.

Monthly meetings are held in four areas across the state - Chippewa Falls, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Wausau - with many members traveling miles to participate. The group offers encouragement, industry and marketing information, and educational and critique opportunities.

WisRWA holds an annual conference where members from all the areas can learn, network, and meet with editors/agents. We also hold two contests, one for unpublished romance writers and one for published romance authors.

WisRWA's support network also reaches into e-space, with members in constant contact. Information is shared and good news, such as contest wins and publishing contracts, spreads across the WisRWA membership in a matter of minutes.
